Karla Dobbeck, a certified professional in Human Resource Management, founded Human Resource Techniques, Inc. in 1997. She is a member of SHRM, the Illinois Fox Valley chapter of SHRM, the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, TMA and AED. In addition, Ms. Dobbeck is a past president of Stateline SHRM, Illinois Fox Valley SHRM, the former Chairwoman of the Algonquin Township Republican Central Committee and the McHenry County Workforce Development Board (MCEDC). In 2012, Ms. Dobbeck served on the US TAG to the ISO TC 260 Standard Development Committee.

Ms. Dobbeck's clients include business associations, manufacturing companies, equipment distributors, not-for-profits, municipalities and professional services. Her accomplishments include developing effective new employee orientation systems, customized employee job training, employee handbooks and performance management tools. In addition, Ms. Dobbeck works with companies to audit their employment law compliance.

As a speaker and trainer, Ms. Dobbeck presents informational topics and provides training on best practices for managing employees and employment compliance issues. Her audiences include supervisory staff members, professional and business organizations, associations, chambers of commerce and government groups.

Since 1998, Human Resource Techniques, Inc. has been an endorsed service provider of TMA and in 2014, earned the endorsed of AED. Since 2009, Human Resource Techniques, Inc. has maintained the highest level of accreditation by the Better Business Bureau with no complaints registered.

Alan O'Brien, Producer, Video/Multimedia/Events

I have been working as a video/media/event producer in the industry for the past 24 years. I have worked on various television, commercial and corporate projects across the globe. The majority of my work has been in corporate communication and video - producing both internal and external videos for my clients. I have had hands on experience with every facet of production including setting up lights and running cables, operating cameras, audio work and editing, as well as managing the budgets and staffing for various videos, training meetings and large events. In addition, I have a background in theater and regularly host corporate social and networking activities.
